We just purchased our new home, and having some water issues, we learned our dunkirk boiler is 22 years old!!!. Its still working strong but was suggested that maybe we should look at updating because of the age and we have hard water and the boiler water inlet was never connected through a soft water line, so years of hard water going through the boiler.

I plan on purchasing another dunkirk boiler. I have heard from other after seeing this in our house they are good boilers and learning its 22 years old says alot!

Yes. With regular maintenance, Dunkirk cast iron boilers can function reliably for a long time. This Dunkirk cast iron boiler replaced a Republic/Dunkirk cast iron boiler that was installed in 1975, and it required minimal maintenance during that time.

Had a 25 yr old boiler I never had an issue with until my hard water built up. Very satisfied with length of problem free heat.

It's our 2nd Dunkirk boiler, the 1st lasted 20 yrs.. The new one is Definitely an upgrade in efficiency.

This is the second unit I have purchased. The first was for a 10 unit apartment building. Fuel usage was cut in half from previous system, very dependable and easy to maintain.

We've been enjoying the new boiler in our 1885 home in upstate NY for about one month now and it is doing a great job.

The design of the Dunkirk boiler also made it an easy (and less costly) installation with both my contractor and I appreciated. They were able to make a reasonable 1:1 swap for connections from the old Weil McLain boiler that they were replacing.

Known for upper quality and replaces Dunkirk 130 BTU unit.

We had to have a board and sensor replaced because the boiler was not working. Fond out the pump was installed upside down.

Good steam boiler. I like the fact you use cast iron push nipples, in lieu of gaskets. Well Built, Simple design.

I would recommend cast iron boilers.  Not high efficiency boiler.  Broke 10 years our and no parts.

Casale Plumbing and Heating did an outstanding job installing the new boiler.  They were very professional in every aspect of the installation.  The piping and electrical work was carefully and neatly completed.  New zone valves were also installed.  Our 3 Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostats work great with the new boiler.  Very pleased with the whole process.

I would recommend this product. This is not my 1st dunkirk boiler. I had one in a previous home that i owned.  The contractor (Oms Heating & Plumbing) that installed boiler, I would highly recommend. He did a very neat and professional job

I was actually the technician who installed the unit. Having worked on boilers for more than 30 years I was very pleased with the ease of install for this unit. I also liked the placement of the domestic coil on the side of the unit that keeps the water lines out of the way of heating loop. I will definitely recommend Dunkirk to future clients. Individuals who unit was installed for were extremely happy with it.

Unit was in stock, knowledgeable sales & installation staff. Product replaced a Peerless boiler that was problematic. Unit was packaged nicely, was easy to maneuver into place and simple to install and run off.

I've been putting dunkirk boilers in my apartments for a long time with very few problems.

This is my 3rd one I have installed, very nice units and easy to work on when open, lots of room

Customer service was excellent, boiler is very efficient and I love the way I can set the boiler to different btu parameters. Installation instructions are vague in regards to initial setup. If the zones are small, it knocks the boiler out on high temp.

The price was great for all the features and quality.

this may sound crazy but its a beautiful boiler. Much more efficient than my old heater. Used heater for first time since change of weather & works perfectly.
